Fyvie Castle visit

It was a lovely day when we visited Fyvie Castle. Not as much outdoor activities for the kids when compared to Haddo house and other places of interest but a medieval display had been arranged and we were hopeful of a good day.

Billy and Sam showing us how to fight, the old fashioned way

Tip 1 - This is the sharp end. Point this at your enemy. It is important the spiked end is furthest away from you

Tip 2 - As well as for playing catch with your friends, the frisbee can be used to knock your enemy off guard

Tip 3 - As you can see the helmets are great for holding long hair out of your eyes

Baldrick. Oh Baldrick. Has anyone seen my mate Baldrick?

Very scary woman. Possibly born in the 15th century and reanimated for this event

She was very popular with the babies for some reason

The 4 buds

Lovely walk round the lake. Nice views and plenty of birds to see

Off to Haddo House once we'd had our fill of Medieval banter.
Spot the rocket! Good fling M

Future Olympian

Dangerous place to be. Where do you look first. Doesn't matter, if the frisbee doesn't get you the rocket or boomerang will

Finished our day with a meal at Ellon Station Hotel. K with her ice-cream thing
