West Coast sailing

Dad and some mates from work set off on a blokes sailing holiday.

Departing from Dunstaffnage Marina near Oban we set off sailing around Skye, stopping off at moorings/anchorages at Tobermory (Mull), Talisker distillery (Skye), Most northerly bay on Skye, Plockton and Kyle of Lochalsh on the mainland.

The route we took, through the sound of Mull, round Skye and back down the inner sound

Tobermory from the anchorage; getting quite late by the time we dropped anchor

Seem to remember this was the southerly point of Eigg but not entirely sure. We passed so many stretches of dramatic coastline I have trouble placing the exact spot.

This is the best picture I managed to get of several basking sharks we passed. They are huge
