Tyrebagger sculptures

On Sunday we headed to the nearby Tyrebagger sculpture walk. A nice day for March and we decided to get some exercise and fresh air.

Moonpool by Anne Bevan, 2002

Apparition by Auke de Vries, 2002. Or Yalla Stag's heed to you and me!

Ghost by Simon Ward 2002. You got it...white painted tree!

Some trolls we stumbled across in a clearing.

Tyrebagger circle by Gavin Scobie, 2003. Circular fences that probably sucked loads of money out of lottery funding!

Earth chamber for the trees and sky by Chris Drury, 1994. I don't think they'll all fit in.

Inside the chamber

Beacon by Allan Watson. The sculpture had a strange effect on the kids, who started trotting round the sculpture chanting incoherently.

The sculpture, marker 7 by John Aitken, 1999.

Segmented Sitka by Keith Rand, 1994. Can you guess what it is yet? Let me help you....twa wooden pine-like cones stuck on top of trees.

Apart from the herd of Bison, which must have moved on we eventually found the elusive slugs. Apparently there are several of these along the trail.
If anybody knows where to find the four life size bison, which we expected to be easier to find than the slugs, then please let us know.
