Moonlight Prowl

The three Amigos. D, J & R, from left to right. All "pinked" up and ready for a 13 mile walk in the early hours of the morning to raise money for (and the awareness of) Breast Cancer. The event has gained in popularity over the years and this year the event raised a total of £115,000 so far. Well done girls.

Dunfermline - May Day Weekend

While in Dunfermline we visited the Abbey and Palace. There's a nice walk in the grounds so we took some photos as we went.

Hopefully we'll see a few more days like this before it turns cold again. Fat chance!

Easter Chicks Update

K managed to raise £140 from the sale of her Easter Chicks. She donated £70 for the Haiti appeal and £70 to Cancer Research. Here she is with her Nannie, a volunteer at the local Cancer Research Charity shop.

Easter Chicks

It's Easter time and the shops have been filled with bunnys, rabbits and chocolate Easter eggs for the last two months.
K's school encourages the kids to come up with ideas to raise funds for good causes and between K and Mum they cooked up an idea to have some fun making Cadbury's cream egg Easter chicks to sell and raise money for local charities. So far there are one hundred in total and the hope is to raise £100. Granny helped by knitting around thirty chicks and also donating the cream eggs for them.
Dad has been recuperating after an operation and restricted from physical activities. You know what they say about idle hands so he got involved in adding eyes and beaks. It soon turned into something else as you'll see from the photos below.

Nannie's Birthday

Nannie's daughters and their families gathered for a Birthday meal in Fraserburgh. Everybody had a great time.

Snow Snow Snow

We had our fair share of snow this year. A few pics below taken in January 2010.
