Haddo House

We woke to light rain and reports of torrential rain from the Kintore Watts, putting a damper on any outdoor activities for Sunday. A quick check on the BBC satellite forecast revealed a small clearing in the rain clouds right above Haddo House so we decided to head in that general direction and see what it was like.
Fortunately it was a great day and the three families attending the Haddo rumpus had a good time.

Can you help me find the way back to Neverland

No, Go Away or we'll get Cap'n Hook after you!

First days back in Scotland

We made it back home safe and sound. The house was as we left it with the following differences:
Garden had become a jungle.
Boiler wouldn't work.
Car wouldn't start.
Ride on mower started....then broke down.
Drains were blocked.

OK, there is more but that's quite enough moaning.
Kaitlyn was quick to disappear on holiday once we caught up on the jet lag. Check out the Kintore Watts Blog in the links on the right for some photos of her escapades.

School Holidays - Bethany's visit

The weather has been great and the kids are really enjoying the summer break.

Now it's B's turn to stay over at our house!
First things first - test the trampoline after reassembly. Works perfectly well.

Better double check and get a second opinion on bounciness!

Best of Buddies

Paddling in the shade. Thanks for bringing the nice weather with you B.

More bubbly fun

A visit to the Broch beach and playpark

Two cool dudes in the shade. Who drank all the paddling pool water?

Another beach. This time near the Waters of Philorth. Heavy construction work was under way within five minutes of arrival.

Who needs deck chairs when you can make your own loungers?

Stuck!!

This time at Strichen duck pond
